Theatre Instruments
The Well [2003]
The Well was created by Madeleine and Tim with Meredith Rogers, and featured in Meredith's Ewa Cjazor Award première production of Breath by Breath, written by Peta Tait and Matra Robertson.
The well was an amplified harp, played live by the cast. This instrument was part of a live acoustic and amplified sound score featuring found materials, violin, clarinet, flugelhorn and keyboard.

Bell/Flow [2003]
This piece was created for Passage, curated by the Contemporary Sculptors Association for the St Kilda Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition in 2003.
Four assemblages of aluminium tubes of various dimensions were suspended in a very large heritage Moreton Bay Fig tree within the St Kilda Botanical Gardens.

Homunculus [2005]
Homunculus, written and performed by Grant Mouldey and Jacob Lehrer, was nominated for a Green Room Award for Sound Design in 2004. The show was then re-mounted at the Malthouse Theatre in 2005, featuring a custom-designed set that had sensor technology operated by the actors, combined with live sound composed and performed by Madeleine Flynn and Tim Humphrey.

Memory Booth [2006]
The Memory Booth formed part of our work with Naomi Ota, Tony Yap and Ria Soemardjo for Accented Body at the Brisbane Festival in 2006. Over a wide area network, people were invited to submit their memories to a collected sound repository that formed a mediating composite audio stream that was part of the Virtual Temple, a live multi-media dance performance piece. The work continues as a collaboration with Naomi, and is shortlisted for the ANAT National Public Wireless Project.
